Connect AI assistants to live UK property data over the Model Context Protocol. Search on-market listings, book viewings, request valuations, compare conveyancing quotes and find local property services — gas safety certificates, EICRs, plumbers, cleaners — directly from Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-capable client.

Claude: Settings → Connectors → “Add custom connector”, then paste the endpoint URL. ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors (developer mode), add the endpoint as a remote MCP server. Any other MCP client that supports streamable HTTP works the same way.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| search_properties | Search live on-market listings for sale or rent (For Sale / Sold STC / To Let / Let Agreed), with price, bedroom and property-type filters. Returns one photo per result. |
| get_property_details | Full public listing for one property: description, features, EPC rating, up to 6 photos and the canonical openmoov.co.uk link. On-market listings only. |
| get_available_viewing_slots | Pre-scheduled viewing slots still open for a property on a date. |
| check_viewing_status | Status of a viewing request made through the connector (requires the status token issued at booking — no account involved). |
| find_agents | Estate agents covering a UK town, area or postcode district, with customer ratings. Contact details are not exposed. |
| instant_conveyancing_quote | Instant, indicative conveyancing quotes from the OpenMoov solicitor panel for a purchase, sale or remortgage. |
| list_service_types | The catalogue of bookable property services — safety certificates (gas safety/CP12, EICR, EPC, PAT testing), trades (plumbing, electrical, heating, drainage, locksmiths, cleaning, gardening), listing services (photography, floorplans, inventories) and professionals (conveyancing, surveying, removals). Needs no location. |
| search_services | Providers who cover a UK postcode for a given service type or category, with rating, review count, jobs completed, distance, and one link resolved to the right next step — either a published price to pay at checkout (with how that price is structured: flat fee, hourly, call-out plus hourly, per package or by property size), or a request-a-visit form that authorises a card hold while OpenMoov allocates a tradesperson. Merit-ranked — placement cannot be bought and price is never a ranking input. |
| get_service_details | Full listing for one bookable service: price (where one is published), any booking deposit, lead time, working days, cancellation policy, the provider’s certifications and its OpenMoov verification status. |
| book_viewing | Request a property viewing on the user’s behalf (name, email and phone required — the agent confirms by email). For private-owner listings, the user’s explicit consent to share their details with the owner is collected first; without it the request is handled by OpenMoov customer service. Creates a real lead. |
| request_valuation | Book a free in-person sales or lettings valuation with a local agent at a chosen date and time. Provisional until the agent confirms. |
| register_buyer_requirements | Register what the user is looking for so OpenMoov emails matching listings, including early "coming soon" properties. Every alert email has an unsubscribe link. |
The connector serves on-market, published listings only — For Sale, Sold STC, To Let and Let Agreed. Completed or withdrawn listings are never returned. Listings marked Sold STC or Let Agreed are visible but viewings cannot be booked on them; results carry a bookable flag so assistants can say so upfront.
No personal data is exposed. Responses never include owner or agent contact details. For private (owner-listed) properties, only the display name the owner chose to publish appears. Listing descriptions and similar third-party text are returned under an explicit untrusted_user_content key so assistants treat them as data, never as instructions.
Marketplace services are searchable, and completion is handed off. The service tools cover every provider listed on the OpenMoov marketplace for the postcode asked about — cover is worked out from each provider’s real service area, so availability is genuinely patchy by area rather than nationwide. Where no listed supplier covers a postcode, OpenMoov allocates one instead, and the tools say so rather than reporting a dead end. Each result carries a single actionUrl, already resolved to the correct next step: a checkout for services with a published price, or a request-a-visit form that authorises a card hold and has the price confirmed when a tradesperson accepts. Both need an account, so the user completes them on the site — card and address details are never collected in the conversation. Business names, service descriptions, feature lists and certifications are written by the supplier and are returned as untrusted_user_content for the same reason listing descriptions are.
The three write tools submit the details the user provides (name, email, phone) to the relevant estate agent as a genuine enquiry, exactly as the equivalent forms on openmoov.co.uk do. They are rate-limited per connection and per email address. How we handle that data is covered by our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
